See you have a Merry Christmas
Non-Stick Plans seems to be becoming a Christmas-card-only blog.
I'm a carer for my 91 year old mother these days and there's not much time (or energy) for this drawing lark. I'm learning the hard way, after a lifetime with my head in the clouds.
Have a nice day, and a happy new year.

Dogs in vases 15
...or 55 on distant Tumblr, where these dogs are finally attracting some followers, after an extended period in the doghouse.

Dogs in Vases 14
This may be the 14th dog in a vase here but it's the 48th over on Tumblr. At least half are not remotely interesting but I quite like this one.

Dogs in vases 12: one dalmatian
You can see him larger on Tumblr, along with other dogs in vases that haven't had the misfortune to appear here.

Fruition
This is a redraw of a sequence that was part of a
book project I was working on for some years but, as usual, failed to finish.
It was to be called 'Midas – a Touch Too Much'. Here we’re present at the moment
when King Midas first tries out his golden touch. It would have led on to an extended
‘dance’ through the countryside of Phrygia as he touches everything he passes and
turns it all into gold, culminating in his return to his palace carrying a huge pile of
golden objects. The idea was for it to be printed in black & white and
gold. Perhaps I should revive it now we’re living in the age of the superrich.

Dogs in vases 11: Westies
My Tumblr blog is still going. Here's one from that very blog as I've got nothing from this very blog. This was a rough drawing. The 'finished' version was neater but lacked something so I'm posting this instead. Why not? West Highland White Terriers as sunflowers.

Dogs in vases 10: Clarice Cliff
As if there wasn't enough rubbish on the internet these dogs in vases have been rehomed to their own blog on Tumblr, where they have more space. I think they've urned it. You can find them here: Dogs in Vases.
I thought of changing the name to 'Pooches in Pitchers' - or 'Pets in Pots' to widen the scope. 'Puppies and Jugs' would widen the scope a little bit too far probably. So I've stuck with 'Dogs in Vases' which more accurately describes the content (and the container).
I hope to be updating it fairly often, if not every day and what goes there will occasionally be here, if I come up with something funny. Come and follow if you're on Tumblr.
