although in this particular case... (my own freaky idea)... i would imagine mr. snow death with a hair dryer.

I see your point, what's the point?. Sometimes there's not the time to think things through when you're doing one a day.
This was originally an animation idea - you'd see death walking through the snow, then he'd suddenly turn his head in profile and there would be the carrot and pipe...
