‘The only way to catch a motor bus.’This surreal effort is my favourite drawing from grandma’s album. I can’t tell you anything about it. Even the signature is a mystery – it could be Phindras or Rhindras – but it is very clearly dated August 1911.

Hi Dave. Wasn't sure anyone would find these interesting. I scanned alot more pages but thought it would get tedious.
I wish I'd been a bit more attentive to my grandmother when I was young - I'm sure there would have been some intriguing stories behind some of these images and poems.
c'est la vie.
imagine how many stories you'll take with you that others will want to know about after the fact...
it all evens out.
