This model may have been Brazilian, and may have had a Brazilian name. These facts should not be relied upon.Another unreliable fact concerning this painting is the neck, which looks flat and has a rather ropey sternocleidomastoid.

It's true that many necks do need work, but in this recession, when work is hard to come by, they're finding it difficult to hold their heads up.
